Accurate and efficient searches for document management users is key to your productivity and everyday workflows. For this reason, the Advanced Search Tab has received several updates to improve functionality and offer enhanced customization options. With these updates, users can now: 

  • Save Advanced Searches: The “save” button is now more visible, ensuring users can easily save specific search criteria for future use. 
  • Add Multiple Sort Criteria: Add several layers of sort criteria to refine your searches.
  • Internal Field Inputs for Locked IDs: Users can now input internal fields like “i locked by id” and “i version locked by id” to narrow their search results more effectively. 
  • Export/Download Documents: Select multiple documents for export or download directly to your local system, saving time on repetitive processes. 

Enhanced Homepage Content and Customization 

The Homepage Content Manager has been overhauled to improve user experience with greater flexibility: 

  • The new setup shifts homepage content to reside under a feature separate from tenant properties, adding better organizational control. 
  • We’ve also introduced a custom component feature enabling users to open Symphony tabs with provided data seamlessly. This tweak ensures quicker navigation and more intuitive use of homepage content. 

Simplified Role and User Management Oversight 

Symphony now includes enhancements in User and Role Management for more transparent and accessible oversight. This update enhances the overall user management workflow, empowering administrators to maintain a secure and well-regulated environment. Here’s how: 

  • We’ve introduced a read-only table displaying a user’s features by role, so you can easily view what permissions are assigned where. 
  • A new Edit Role Button allows administrators to make changes to roles more efficiently. 

Optimized Search and Import Views 

We’ve combined some of the most widely used document management features into a single, easy-to-navigate interface. You can expect to see the following changes: 

  • Symphony’s Search and Import Views are now merged into one unified UI under the DM configuration. This simplifies how users interact with their data and reduces the time spent toggling between separate tools. 
  • Additionally, restricted users will now experience mirrored functionality of their limitations on the Import Tab, helping organizations maintain consistent role-based access controls. 

Empowering the Index Tab with New Toolbar Features 

Indexing documents just got a productivity boost! As a result, revisions are now easier than ever to manage, keeping your document library accurate and up-to-date. 

  • The Revision Toolbar for the Index Tab: This feature is now live. Now, users can manage document revisions with greater efficiency, and ensure document updates are straightforward and easy to track throughout workflows. 

Sign Now Integration and Pop-Out Options in the Search Tab 

Symphony users can also enjoy better integration and usability within the Search Tab. These Symphony updates bring professional-grade functionality as well as flexibility and efficiency. This is especially helpful for professionals balancing large volumes of paperwork. 

  • Our Sign Now Integration is now fully implemented, allowing users to electronically sign documents directly within Symphony. This makes contract management and sign-offs a breeze. 
  • Added a new “Open Revision in Pop-Out” Button, which gives users the ability to work with document revisions in separate windows — ideal for multi-tasking. 

Even More Enhancements to Boost Efficiency
