Chase’s Role at Paperwise
With 4 productive years at Paperwise under his belt, Chase has embraced the complexities of his role as Quality Assurance Software Engineer. He’s responsible for planning, creating, and performing a variety of software tests to ensure the products we develop exceed expectations.
“These tests range from simple unit tests to detailed user interface testing, security scans, and regression tests,” Chase explains. His dedication to quality also sees him training team members and maintaining robust documentation—a reflection of the depth of knowledge he’s gained through his work.
A Celebrated Milestone
One of Chase’s standout memories from his time at Paperwise is the launch of our online product, Symphony, in a production environment.
“My best memory of working at Paperwise is the day we had our online product, Symphony, fully functional in a production environment. Every person in every department was collaborating and working diligently to prepare the product for our first customer. Everyone was excited to see the project assembled and each of us had fun pointing out the pieces we worked on,” Chase recalls.
This milestone was a testament to the teamwork and dedication that Paperwise embodies. Moments like these highlight the synergy and camaraderie that define our workplace culture.
Looking Ahead to 2025
The future is nothing short of thrilling at Paperwise, with big plans already in motion for 2025. Chase is particularly excited about projects designed to enhance customer experience through Symphony’s integrations.
“The projects I’m excited about working on for Paperwise in 2025 relate to the hard work performed by our sales team to find customer needs that can be met or exceeded by integrations with the Symphony product,” Chase shares. “We have already started a project to utilize SignNow integrations and APIs within Symphony, and the sales team is currently reaching out to customers to share the great news about these features and benefits that were introduced to our products.”
For Chase, each new project is an opportunity to deliver meaningful impact while exploring cutting-edge technologies. His enthusiasm speaks to Paperwise’s commitment to constant innovation and adaptability.
Beyond Work: Logic Puzzles and Continuous Growth
When Chase isn’t ensuring flawless functionality in Paperwise’s products, you’ll likely find him immersed in logic puzzles—especially in the form of video games.
“I have several interests I interact with to keep myself knowledgeable and well versed in concepts that appear infrequently in my work, however, my main interest is in logic puzzles, mainly in the form of video games, ” explains Chase. “I carry the lessons I learn from these video games back into my QA work when writing or planning software testing. Doing so inspires me to look at the interactions between the regions of code in a new angle and search for bugs or feature improvements that previously seemed unlikely or impossible.”
Chase’s drive for continual growth extends further than puzzles. Recently, he’s ventured into the realms of physical and financial wellness, adding exercise and investing to his list of personal goals. “Both areas offer unique challenges and rewards, and I’m excited to see where they take me,” he notes.
