Q: What are the Requirements for Upgrading?

Hosted Clients All users must have their email address set up in Paperwise MMC Each cabinet can have indexes hidden or exposed, by default all will be exposed unless told otherwise. On-Prem Clients Paperwise WebAPI must be installed on a webserver with the requirements listed below: Windows Server 2012 R2 or higher IIS 8.5 or higher Net 4.6.2 or higher SSL certificate(s) for IIS sites Signing certificate for Identity service A dedicated certificate is recommended. A self‐signed certificate could be created, or the same certificate used for SSL could be used if appropriate.

Will our existing integrations and customization work with Symphonmy?

The integrations that you have invested in will continue to work if they make use of the Integration Client toolbar. Backend integrations can continue to work with the Paperwise applications installed that they require.

Can I upgrade if we are an on-prem Paperwise client?

If you host your own Microsoft SQL Server and want to keep using it you can. You will need to install a connector to allow Symphony to access your data.

If we upgrade, Will our old Paperwise solution go away

You may use Symphony and Paperwise in parallel. You choose which teams are ready to use Symphony. Roll out to the rest of your users on your own time frame.
