Emergency Backup
PaperWise offers Emergency Backup where data is extracted from customer servers, downloaded, and then placed onto PaperWise servers. Options available include a single, daily backups or periodical backups that keep information current. However, disaster management capabilities are not solely offered in the event of an emergency.
eCoverage
Using PaperWise eCoverage allows customers to house as much of their corporate data as they require. Information is sent via a secure Internet connection to a server at the PaperWise Data Center.
ASP Model
Another backup option available is an ASP model, in which PaperWise hosts customer data. In this case, all customer data is directed to a server kept at the Springfield Underground. When something happens at ground level, productivity is maintained as all the information is located underground where it remains unaffected by the elements. With this function, PaperWise users have the ability to never lose productivity.
While it is most effective to have an existing offsite backup plan, PaperWise has the ability to become a data center for any non-ASP customer in a moment’s notice, as the infrastructure is already in place. In the event a company were to lose access to its server’s productivity, they would never actually lose production during the day either the Offsite or Emergency Backup options.
